First of all, I am not a doctor and my American Heart Association’s First Aid Certification has long since expired so any blather I say on my blog should not be taken as medical advice and it is only my own opinion. Be smart and check with you own doctor first as well as your companies HR department (they like to be informed too).

Second, I work for a large non-profit in Saint Paul, Minnesota which will remain nameless for now. I will say I love my job and the work I do which probably puts me at odds for 90% of Americans.

About me and why am I doing this?

Name is Joe Hoover I decided to go big on treadmill thing because even as a kid, dieting never did much good for me. The only thing that worked was exercise. Working out was much easier when I had no responsibilities and I could just hang in the gym and had a job required me to be on my feet. As a web designer sitting at desk for eight hours is doing my ass no favors not mentioning the fact that in the long run if I keep it up I will wind up with a date with two paramedics and a rib spreader.

Why I am I blogging on it

Inspiration. …and I am a web junky. Turn lemons into lemonade as they say….

I also think it makes great sense, however, to date I am only reading about home office treadmills and none at work. I hope this blog will encourage others and business to take N.E.A.T. aka: treadmills at the workplace seriously.
Because some folks are interested….
